Safety Award Program
Purpose
Any employee can nominate another full time employee for the Safety Award. The safety award is presented to an employee who makes a significant contribution to the Repsol Safety Culture. Nominations will be submitted to S&E for review and selection.
Award
The employee will receive a thank you card and select a gift option from the recognition awards site, Safety Awards. The employee will be mentioned on digital boards and newsletter as a recipient of the award.
Criteria for Nomination/Selection
- Employee cannot be directly involved with enhancing the Repsol safety culture. Must be a regular full time employee who has been employed for 90 days. No directors can be selected.
- Employee must not have any poor performance indicators in job history spanning back one (1) year. Employee must not have any active disciplinary action pending.
- Employee must have completed and attended all safety related trainings (online and classroom)
Types of Accomplishments
The following are some examples of individual accomplishments worthy of a nomination for the Safety Award.
- Leading by example to positively change the safety culture.
- Going beyond the “call of duty†to identify unsafe conditions in the workplace.
- Setting an example of citizenship in safety (not just compliance to established rules and regulations)
- Made a remarkable contribution to the safety of other employees.
